2023: This kitten was born to our cattery and when he arrived we saw the deepest most intense classic red coat. We hoped he would develop into a show cat and our hopes materialized. At the end of the summer he had been to several kitten shows and had several winning shows under his paw.
The annual show was in Chicago that year appropriately called Feline Inferno. We attended and Takara made several finals and so we decided we could show him as an adult.

He was a great cat to show and he enjoyed the traveling. We never had to worry about his temperament as he showed with ease.

IW CascadeMtn Makena Surf

 June 2022: We’ve been busy this past show year with our kitten IW CascadeMtn Makena Surf. He is a brown classic tabby male with a beautiful heavy coat of flowing fur and long rectangular body. His head features a wide muzzle, upright correctly placed ears and head size relative to his body. When stretched out on the judges table he really is a site to behold. We love his beautiful pattern and the color of his coat. He is such a sweet cat with wonderful personality and he loves to sprint around the house. His favorite pastime is watching the birds on the outside deck. Current standards show his standing at 13th Best Kitten 21/22.

July 2021: Our beautiful brown classic tabby kitten “Kona Kai” showed beautifully at various shows in over 6 states over a 6 month sprint. The results are in, Kona is TICA’s (The International Cat Association’s) 8th Best Kitten of the show year. He is a gorgeous kitten and has all the physical qualifications to meet the Maine Coon standard. Following this honor he went on complete the qualifications for a Champion SE Regional Award and then his Supreme Grand Champion designation. He is a very sweet and gentle natured darling cat who loves attention. His parents are IW SGC Chemicoons Leonard H PHD of LAPD and CascadeMtn Alchemy of Chemicoons. Thanks to our longtime friends Emmons and Liz Brown for the sweetest kitten who has stolen our hearts. We are beyond thrilled.

CascadeMtn Teddy Bear

July 2016: CascadeMtn Teddy Bear is pictured here with cat judge Jim Armel. Teddy is now a Regional Winner in the South Central for 2016 and has his Quadruple Grand Champion.

Big News!  Buffy is a Regional Winner!

RW CascadeMtn Buffy of Lionheartcoon is TICA's Europe South Region's 11th Best Kitten.

Buffy is living in Italy with Roberto, Samantha and their daughter. She has a happy life  and attends some cats shows, but mostly she hangs out at home and getting many pets and attention from her family and other cat friends.  She is a pretty brown classic torbie with white girl, and has a really beautiful coat with dramatic pattern, gorgeous ears and wide muzzle.  At her last show she took 14 finals in 14 rings. You Go Girl!

RW CascadeMtn Beethoven

June 2015:   Great News to share! RW CascadeMtn Beethoven is a Regional Winner. He is TICA's South Central Region's 13th Best Kitten.  Many thanks to Tracy for presenting Beethoven at his best and taking him to show.  We are proud of this gorgeous young kitten!

This is  RW SGCA CascadeMtn Beethoven.  Lovingly shown and owned by Tracy Harding Chavez.  Tracy likes packing up the car to go with her kids and mom, Pat. Off they are driving down the road for a weekend cat show and some fun times.  Many thanks to our best friend Liz Hansen for  grooming Beets to purrrfection...

CascadeMtn Amari

A brown classic male is owned by Lynne Hudson of Washington State.  Amari is currently showing in the kitten class and most recently at the Portland, OR., cat show.  He will be going on to the alter class in spring.

Amari is a beautiful dark brown tabby with expressive eyes, wide chunky muzzle, tall ears nicely furnished with Lynx tips, and perfectly curved profile. He has a long muscled body and good over all size.  He is a very sweet and gentle cat and loves to play with his brothers.  He has a wonderful home with Lynne and sometimes goes to the office with her.

This beautiful solid black young male has great promise.  We love his very large size and dense heavy body.  Fortunately his head is very nice too, with a great square muzzle and upright nicely placed ears.  We think he has the longest tail we’ve seen on a Maine Coon!  He enjoys going to the shows and loves traveling with us. 

CascadeMtn Malibu of Whatatrill

Malibu has a wonderful home with my best friend and fellow Maine Coon breeder, Janet Brown.  She loves her new family!  She also loves attending shows and likes to be admired for her beauty and cute personality.  She is currently showing in the kitten class.  We think she is very pretty!

TGC CascadeMtn Callejero of Coonquest

This gorgeous dark brown classic tabby male Maine Coon is Callejero or CJ, as he is known. He has a beautifully sculpted head (he gets from his dad IW SGC CascadeMtn Ace O Spades) with expressive eyes, large well placed ears with dramatic lynx tips, and his muzzle features just the right amount of length and width to well meet the Maine Coon standard. CJ has a great long bushy tail to match his impressive frame and beautiful pattern. This guy isn’t just all goods looks, as if that were not enough to make you immediately fall in love with him; he has THE charisma and charm to completely melt your heart. He hasn’t ever met a person is doesn’t like and is the completely warm and well relaxed a cat that gave Maine Coon’s a reputation of “Gentle Giant.” CJ is enjoying his humans Vickie and Larry Fisher in Albuquerque NM, and has even managed to charm the resident cats who completely tried to resist liking CJ at all. Watch for CJ as he soon joins the Alter Class at area cat shows.

Sammy is out of IW SGC CascadeMtn Ace O Spades X RW QGC Bigrivercoon Bacardi of CascadeMtn. She is a beautiful Solid Black female and has great size for a girl. She is owned by Janet Brown of Whatatrill where she lives a wonderful life with Janet’s family – both two legged and 4 legged. She is currently showing in the kitten class.

SGC CascadeMtn Einstein of Popokilani

Yukari and Yasuyuki Endo of Popokilani Cattery in Japan lovingly showed Einstein “Ein” to a Supreme Grand Champion. Ein is a very sweetly natured boy and will make a great addition to the Popokilani cattery.

“Harry” as he is known, is a very friendly and sweet cat who is fond of most people he meets. He lives with Val and Richard in Hermiston, Oregon and loves all the daily attention he gets from his family.
